This position entailed providing high-quality customer and stakeholder liaison. I developed system templates and correspondence layouts used everyday to ensure a time-saving approach was implemented.
This role allowed me to collaborate with a multitude of academic departments across the university. To help streamline the heavy enrolment process, I developed technical materials and new system usages still currently used today.
Throughout my time in this role I assisted the practice manager in training new administrative staff on office protocols and our electronic systems usage. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws governing medical practices was something I establish with new trainees when they initially begin their role.
This role allowed me to step in and assist the practice manager with office duties when she was not present. I handled daily bank deposits and cooperated with Medicare and private insurance providers to resolve billing issues.
