Career break 2024-2025

Career Break Summary (2024-2025)

In March 2024, I made a significant transition, relocating from New Zealand to Australia to explore new professional and personal opportunities. During this time, I took a career break to focus on resettling, expanding my skill set, and aligning my career path with my values and long-term aspirations.

This period allowed me to deepen my expertise in community engagement, financial literacy, and ethical business practices, particularly within Islamic finance. I continued to stay actively involved in mentoring, coaching, and supporting community-based initiatives, including fundraising efforts and business development for social impact. Additionally, I leveraged my recruitment and people management skills by engaging in freelance talent acquisition and candidate screening.

As I now re-enter the workforce, I bring fresh perspectives, enhanced skills, and a renewed commitment to roles that align with my background in client services, community development, financial empowerment, and people-focused solutions. I am eager to contribute my experience and expertise to a meaningful role where I can make a positive impact while continuing my professional growth in Australia.
