Registered Nurse - Aged care
Assume responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated residents
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients according to accepted nursing practice and standards
Ensure a high standard of care for the elderly is maintained at all times
Assisting in admission and helping ease the transition for patients and their families
Lead the Health Care Assistant in providing high-quality direct and indirect care
Build strong relationships with residents to encourage trust, and understand their needs
Evaluate resident care needs and in conjunction with our multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate individualized care plans that meet the resident's needs

Registered Nurse - Dialysis
Employed in a fast-paced environment working directly with a multidisciplinary team in providing effective nursing care in the clinical setting
Greeting patients, performing patient assessments, reviewing dialysis orders, noting the physical and mental condition of patients through observation and interviews, documenting data to determine compliance to dietary or medication regimes, reviewing lab work, and patient care plans
Initiation, monitoring, and termination of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments and the management of complications such as hypotension, access alarms, clotted circuit, etc
Perform patient care activities and procedures such as taking vital signs, suture removal, catheter care, wound care, venipuncture, and blood draws
Medication administration, anemia management, fluid therapy, ECG interpretation, recognition of cardiac arrests, and performance of CPR
Assessing and accessing the patient's arteriovenous fistula or central venous catheter along with ordering and collecting blood if required
Giving medications as prescribed and checking effectiveness in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team
Educate patients and families about adherence to treatment prescription plans, diet or fluid restrictions, personal hygiene, and the importance of medication compliance
Provides effective, compassionate clinical care and collaborates with the medical staff to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
