Thesis paper on '2D bimetallic oxide formation from liquid metals' under the supervision of Professor Anthony O'Mullane & Central Analytical Research Faculty QUT (CARF).
Creating atomically - thin 2D nanosheets of FeCo oxide for electrocatalytic reactions OER & ORR; that can be used as catalysts to split water and create hydrogen by alloying Fe and Co into liquid Ga and exposing the alloy to an oxygen stream and eject nanosheets into solutions; creating 2D nanosheets to be used as an effective catalyst. Several methods of extracting these nanomaterials from the liquid metal environment were studied such as gas ejection, touch printing and sonication.
