KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Foster a safe and healthy work environment.
· Manage disciplined operations to optimize safety, customer service, staff morale, and efficiency.
· Oversee production planning using Ostendo to ensure timely and accurate manufacturing in line with business requirements.
· Ensure products are manufactured to quality specifications, maintaining low product return rates.
· Implement and manage cleaning programs to ensure product quality and prevent contamination.
· Build and maintain a strong, motivated team, ensuring all staff are trained.
· Promote a culture of open communication, attention to detail, and teamwork.
· Maintain Compliance with company policies, safety standards, and food safety audits, minimizing product damage.
· Review operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimise unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Participate in objective setting, plan development and performance review of employees (KPI’S).
