- I was the Mechanical engineer responsible for the execution of mechanical activities such as Shoe support fabrication, Plant equipment installation, Preservation and pre-commissioning work, Structure installation of the ISS3 area and Well Block (WB3) area
- I got opportunity to execute the construction activities for pipe racks, rotating equipment, static equipment, Flare stack, compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, Vessels, Tanks, pig launchers/ receivers and coolers
- Managed 4 supervisors and 8 foremen and trade persons-welders, fabricators fitters of a total 60
- Understand the baseline schedule for the project and understand the completion target of the project
- Work front calculation based on materials, drawings, and the site situation
- Preparation of micro schedule of the specific tasks considering the interface activities and arrive at the date when it is planned to be achieved
- Coordinate with QC for any RFI's and any client requirements or in-house coordination
- Understand the risk of the job being executed if any and understand the method statement to carry out any task

- Responsible for executing preservation activities as per schedule and recording all activities and observations on applicable preservation record forms
- Detailed study of P&ID and General Arrangement drawings, ensure the availability of materials with respect to the packing list
- Conduct inspection and testing stage wise as per the Inspection Test Plan and confirming that all quality records have been completed and accepted
- Preparation of WMS (Work Method Statement), Risk Assessment for all construction activities prior to commencing the activities
- Responsible for the mechanical completion activities that are required to be performed to allow successful completion of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities

- Take the total quantity of welding electrode required and Conduct welder qualification test
- Coordinate with NDT department for Radiography test and ultrasonic tests for all the weld joints, as per the project requirements
- Conduct meeting with subcontractors for finalizing the quotes and assigning the scope of work along with the contracts team
- Verify the rolling and diameter after fit-up are as per the drawing
- Conduct Dye penetrant test for the weld joints of structure beams and flue cans
- Execute the installation within the time frame within the safety parameters
- Preparation of lifting plans before the commencement of the rigging activities and obtaining approval from the clients.
