When starting my first job in hospitality, I want to focus on providing excellent customer service, greeting customers warmly, taking accurate orders, and serving food and drinks efficiently. I aim to maintain cleanliness in the work area, work well with my team, follow safety and hygiene procedures, handle payments confidently, and stay calm during busy periods. I also want to learn how to carry plates and trays properly, understand the menu, use the POS system, handle customer complaints professionally, and develop basic barista or drink service skills if needed. Additionally, I hope to improve my time management, communication with colleagues, and understanding of workplace policies, safety standards, and food handling procedures to perform my job effectively and grow in the hospitality industry.
