Every Friday I would catch a bus with other students from school and sign in at the front office, then be assigned to a classroom. I would generally supervise the kids when they are working and help them with their work. I would be there for a couple of hours in the morning then head back to school on a bus.

I was completing work experience for a week with Goodyear Autocare as a school requirement, but I had to organise it myself. I would show up at 8 in the morning and finish at around 2pm, spending most of the time changing tires, balancing them, greasing the screws, taking the damaged tires out the back and stacking them, sweeping, and checking tire pressure.

Floor:

- Clean/vacuum Cinema

- Empty/replace/compact bins

- Check tickets + assist customers in getting to their seat/cinema

- Maintenance jobs eg. Weed picking, washing windows, wiping down + disinfecting, vacuum foyer

- Clean + deep clean toilets

- Mopping

- Cinema Checks

Candy Bar:

- Counting tills

- Serving customers food/drinks + tickets

- Customer service

- Restock fridges + food

- Hook up/unhook drink fountains

- Mopping

- Dishes

Live Usher:

- Assist customers in finding seat during live shows

- Ensure safety of customers during show

- Clean up dressing rooms

- Clean theatre + stage
