Noah Coomas

Accepted into the Clayton Utz First Nations Traineeship following my summer internship with the firm. Part of the Major Projects and Construction Team under Katherine Mallik.

Accepted as one of three Clerks in the NSW Bar Association's First Nations Clerkship.

3 week program shadowing and performing legal research for barristers, as well as Judges of the District Court, Land and Environment Court, Supreme Court and Federal Court.

• Summer intern under Bruce Cooper, Katherine Mallik and Graham Read in the Major Projects and Construction Practice Group.

• Student Head of College Pastoral Team.
• Led team of 20 second and third-year students to provide pastoral care to students at the College.
• Responsible for logistics of student support (eg preparing duty rosters), liaising with College Staff and Council to provide updates from student perspective and communicate the mission and objectives of the Staff and Council to the student base.

Two rotations throughout the firm including:

• Working under Brigid Maher and Paul Brown in Employment Practice Group.
• Working under Kate Gillingham in Pro Bono Practice Group.

• Working under Will Stawell Banking and Finance (Leveraged Finance) team.
• Secondment to Justice Connect, Sydney.

• Interned full-time January-February and June-July.
