Worked within the IT industry for 10 years as an analyst/programmer .After a 10 year family career break , retraining in accounting (AAT qualified) and subsequently working 15 years+ as a freelance bookkeeper and accounts manager across a varied selection of businesses and charities.

Although I do not have experience yet of Australian Tax ,PAYG and BAS systems ,I have many years experience of the UK equivalent PAYE , VAT , Annual TAX returns and management accounts reporting and am a quick study.

Accomplishments

1. While employed at Hedley Foundation Ltd , I converted their paper/excel based accountancy systems to SAGE 50 ensuring more accurate record keeping. All historic data was successfully converted and changes to internal working processes implemented.

2. For my client Channel Mum Ltd (UK Media company, operating an online multi-channel video blog community network ), I implemented a company wide purchase order system with multi level authority approval to assist the department heads with their budgeting and expense control requirements.
