Clinical Placement (Upcoming)


Placement 1: Rehabilitation Consulting (6 weeks – 24/02/25 to 04/04/25)

  • Gaining experience in occupational rehabilitation, supporting individuals in achieving sustainable recovery and return to work.
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to address physical, psychological, and social complexities affecting rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Assisting with functional assessments, return-to-work planning, and client education to promote independence and optimal health.

Placement 2: Occupational Therapy in Community & Home-Based Practice (7 weeks – 28/04/25 to 13/06/25)

  • Supporting clients in enhancing daily living skills and community participation through person-centred interventions.
  • Conducting home and functional assessments to identify barriers and recommend strategies for improved independence.
  • Providing education and training on adaptive strategies, falls prevention, and equipment use.
  • Assisting in the prescription of assistive technology and home modifications to enhance accessibility and quality of life.
