I have such an appreciation for my intern year at Enjoy Church!

It has been a year of growth and I have learned so much.

As part of internship you give one day a week and most Sundays volunteering for a year. In addition to that you volunteer at 4 functions within that year.

We would have weekly meetings as a group of interns where different mentors will join our intern sessions. There we got to learn about leadership, discipleship, gifting, different personalities profiles and how to best work with them. And so much more!

I had the privilege to volunteer in the children’s ministry departments and loved the creative freedom I was given within this space. I got to plan activities weekly and make sure rooms were re set and ready for each Sunday. This included uploading lessons and songs to YouTube. Within the year we also have many special event Sundays where we plan our teaching around a theme. We have lots of fun doing this.
