  • Installation of solar systems in a residential setting. working on roofs, installing solar racking equipment, cabling, conduit, dektites. Inverter installs and fit offs on various materials, planning and running DC, AC and data runs through wall, floor and ceiling spaces. Switchboard connections and upgrades. Installation/removal of solar main switches, RCBOs, RCDs and main switch replacements.
  • Installation of solar systems in a commercial setting. working on large scale warehouse builds, measuring out, cutting and fitting cable tray, running in high amperage cabling, large-scale solar racking installations. Crimping, fitting off and torque testing DC feeds, AC mains and sub-mains connections at commerical switchboards.
  • Service of customers' houses. Pre-installation assessments and planning of residential solar installs, measuring out and optimising panel/inverter locations, quoting jobs, and liaising with customers. Post-installation fault finding and repair. Faults include: roof leaks, inverter faults, battery faults, damaged cabling, damaged panels/racking, AC circuit faults revealed after switchboard upgrades. etc. Installation of new parts to existing systems, paperwork and software use.
