I enjoy working in the shed, welding, working on cars, motorbikes and anything else mechanical. I also enjoy working with my older brother (Carpenter) and my dad (Electrician) when I can to gain extra experience in different fields of work. I love animals, owning and looking after several pets including 3 dogs, a cat, chickens, sheep and even a snake. Finally, Some of my hobbies include;
- Riding motorbikes ( trail riding and motocross)
- Camping with friends. I have been lucky enough to travel to places like Fraser Island and Stradbroke Island in my car with my friends.
- I enjoy road trips, by myself or with friends. I like to go and explore anything from beaches to small towns to lookouts.
At Dollars and Senses as a team member I have gained experience:
- talking to and assisting customers
- addressing customers concerns and resolving issues
- serving customers, working the register and dealing with money
- stocking, tidying and reorganising shelves,
- cleaning the store
- paperwork and stocktakes
- working efficiently by myself as well as with all other team members
Working as a delivery driver at Domino's taught me several things including:
- working flexible hours, including opening shifts as well as closing/ late night shifts.
- how to work effectively to get tasks completed on time
- looking after and wearing a uniform correctly
- working in busy/ high intensity situation
- staying organised and planing deliveries to take the quickest route
At the age of 13 to make some extra pocket money I decided to do small yard maintenance jobs for people in my area. This included mowing, whipper snipping, weeding etc. This work taught me:
- Self motivation, responsibility and creativity to complete tasks on my own
- the importance of a strong work ethic and self improvement
- To learn quickly and retain information
- Advertising quoting and promoting my work
- Certificate III in Business
- Certificate II in Engineering Pathways
- Certificate I in construction
In Year 12 I was the highest achiever in both my construction and English classes.
I was also the highest achiever in my Year 11 English class.
