Volunteer Work

I am heavily involved in the Kurrawa Surf Club, where I currently serve as the Youth Development Officer. In this role, I plan social events for children, chaperone events and camps, facilitate lifesaving skill upskilling, including CPR certification, and work to maintain retention rates of youth members. Additionally, I take on the role of leading the Under 12's at nippers every Sunday during the nipper season, ensuring beach and ocean safety, teaching lifesaving skills, and promoting ocean awareness. I am also an active competitor in Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) racing, having made the Queensland State team and achieving the title of champion in the Open Male Teams event three times in a row.
