Olivera Hristova

Originally I am from Macedonia. I came to Australia 8 years ago with my family and last year we became Australian citizens.

I am a mother of two children, 11 and 7 years old and married to my husband for 12 years.

My educational philosophy is to create learning environment that is fun, exiting based around the interests and wonder of each individual child.

I also believe in providing quality education and care and building positive, trusting long term relationships with children and families. My own experience of growing up in a close-nit community informs my practice and desire to to establish strong partnership with families.

I take on holistic approach to children's learning and provide a comfortable, trusting, loving and respectful environment where the children feel safe and secure to explore, develop independence and positive self-esteem.

I have been working as an Early Childhood Educator at Guardian Prahran over a six years. with all age groups of children. I can say that I am very creative, love to stay active and bring these passions into my Early Childhood Teaching. I believe that early years is an important time to nurture children's love of learning and to foster their overall wellbeing.

Photography is a hobby that offers me so many possibilities for creative expression, technical expertise, and sheer variety of ways to capture an image.

Photography makes me fall in love with life. With all the beauty and adventure that comes with photography, I cannot help but learn to appreciate life in its entirety. When I look at the world through your viewfinder and capture breathtaking moments, I realize just how beautiful the world can be.

I love taking spontaneous photos of my children when we are on a holiday, so I capture the moments of joy and wonder.
