I am a hardworking and dedicated history teacher, with a particular interest in social and cultural history, and Indigenous communities' history. Having grown up in Belgium, Bahrain, and Germany, I have an international outlook, and I am used to adapting to new situations and interacting with a broad range of people. I am proactive and motivated individual, striving to learn new skills, expand my historical knowledge to help promote a strong classroom presence and foster positive discussions, and interacting in the wider school community by initiating and leading an after-school running club. I am continuously maintaining and striving to develop my language skills. I am continuously aiming to improve and learn by communicating with experienced colleagues for advice and taking on new challenges, such as organising and running the History Department's KS3 field trips and helping with curriculum design.
