Working as a junior pharmacy assistant provided me with an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical management and operation. As a junior pharmacy assistant, my responsibilities revolved around providing support to the pharmacy team and ensuring efficient customer service. As part of my role, i interacted with customers, addressing inquiries and providing friendly and professional assistance including greeting customers, helping individuals find over-the counter medications and products, and directing customers to pharmacist's for important inquiries.

I frequently assisted in processing prescriptions, which involved accurately entering patient and prescription information into the computer system. Gaining knowledge surrounding medical purpose, chemical structure and function.

Moreover, as per my employment status, i aided in receiving, unpacking and organising medication and supply deliveries, re-stocking shelves and ensuring proper storage of medications according to regulatory guidelines.

Additionally, as a junior Pharmacy assistant, i assisted in maintaining. clean and safe workspace, including cleaning equipment, disposing of expired stock and medication, organising supplies and accurately labelling and packaging medications in compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Finally, as a junior pharmacy assistant, i gained fundamental knowledge from experienced pharmacists and other team members. This role provided me with an excellent platform for expanding my knowledge of medications, pharmacy operations, and customer service skills, serving as a stepping stone for my future career growth in the medical industry.
