  • Working as a cabin crew member requires me to be fully first aid trained.
  • I have practised first aid on board during medicals, for example CPR, faints and head injuries.
  • I am also trained for emergency procedures which has taught me to adapt to any situation in a fast paced environment.
  • I also have the responsibility of checking safety and medical equipment before boarding passengers.
  • I was trained to work on over 6 aircrafts, I have to be highly organised, refreshing knowledge ready for the safety briefings prior to each flight.
  • Working with a new crew each time requires me to form bonds and trust quickly so we were able to work as a team efficiently and effectively but also have fun.
  • Constantly meeting and dealing with new clientele had developed my problem solving skills as problematic situations needed to be defused immediately which can be difficult with language barriers.
  • Also trained in the business class cabin, It is expected to deliver a very high standard of service which has to run seamlessly.
  • I have increased profits per flight through upselling, seat upgrades and enrolling customers into the executive club.

  • During the pandemic I have worked as a Testing Assistant through Arc Hospitality for the NHS.
  • With Covid-19 amongst us I have had to adapt my working life and how I work in teams, as social distancing is vital.
  • Working as an assistant for a Covid 19 test site includes; assisting with self tests, making test kits, the crucial role of cleaning the testing bays, cleaning staff areas every 30 minutes to keep up hygiene standards, deep cleaning every day, checking people in for their appointments and scanning customer test’s through to be collected.

  • This role required me to recommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on the customer's needs and desires.
  • I also operated the till which included taking payments, checking stock inventory and I had the responsibility of cashing up at the end of the day.
  • Other responsibilities included preparing online deliveries, maintaining stock room standards, placing and putting away store deliveries and visual merchandising.
  • Working in the retail sector has massively progressed my self-confidence and my team work skills.
