Non-Professional Interests

  • Travel: I have been fortunate enough to have explored parts of every continent, largely solo - highlights being an ascent of Mera Peak (6461m) in the Himalayas, a traverse of the Mongolian steppe on horseback, and extended exploration of India and Tibet.
  • Reading: I read about 1 book every fortnight covering a broad range of topics with a particular focus on business, philosophy, psychology and history.
  • Comedy: I have regularly performed at stand-up comedy gigs around Sydney.
  • Theatre, Film, and Writing: I was involved in five play productions between 2014 and 2019. I played the lead role in three of those. In 2019, I wrote a 20,000 word screenplay.
  • Technology: From a young age, I have been passionate about emerging technologies. In 2020 I worked as a freelance speech and copywriter for a leading consultancy in AI and Blockchain marketing.
  • Sport: I was chosen to captain the Combined GPS XI (Cricket) and was selected in the NSW Schoolboys XI. I also play Basketball and follow most codes closely.
