Longstanding passion for all things construction. Have been involved in the Head Contractor role for a majority of my career, I am now looking to divert towards an Electrotechnology trade and refine a new skillset, whilst bringing my knowledge and experience over to the Subcontractors side. Whilst appreciating the large amount of learning to come though taking on a new trade, I fully intend on making my way into a role in the Electrical field. Project Engineer

  • Begun this role to further broaden my experience in Defence projects, both in the technical & contractual challenges that they present
  • This project comprised of a 12 hour a day program, with continually changing design to be coordinated and priced
  • Role included design development, scope of work writing, short-term programming and QA control
  • Adheracne to stringent Defence QA standards was a critical component to this role, whilst maintaining a highly aggressive program.

  • Started in this role in the ACT, working on some smaller complex project such as a Defence compound live office fitout, as well as a recladding project on an active retirement village
  • Then transferred to the Victorian office to take on a larger role on a 28 storey new build in the heart of Melbourne CBD
  • This role involved full responsibility and management of the structure, including all services coodination within the pre-pours
  • Role included large amount of on-site trade coordiantion as well as design development, all occuring in a highly congested CBD location
  • Upon topout, role transffered to focus on fit-out and completion of handover.

  • Project inbcluded 5 x new medium rise accomodation buildings, large hard landscaping and civil/services mains works
  • Role inbcluded exposure to & involvment in all aspects of the project, including pre-pour activities, in ground works, subcontractor claims & safety management.
