I am a hobbiest machinest and blacksmith making me well versatile in metalurgy and operation of metal work machines (Lathes, mills ect.) I passed year 12 systems engineering by building a lathe from scratch and also attended and completed 2 Tafe programs, a welding course privately and a machineing course sponsored by the school VET program. All if this gives me a basic understanding of how to work with and maintain industrial tools and my experience in blacksmithing allows me to identifiy different types of alloys and steels as well as the correct and safe way to work with them.
