Completed my Electrical apprenticeship with EGT through Electek as my host employer
Managed an extensive switchboard upgrade at Hollywood Private Hospital, ensuring the effective installation of a new Building Main Switchboard, alongside the complete replacement of electrical switchboards in the Bullwinkle wing. In this process, I also had to merge the new electrical system with the old mechanical infrastructure.
Worked on a multi-story apartment block called Altum in Scarborough, where I was the second in charge under the site supervisor. In this role, I looked after the apartment fit-outs and was the main point of contact for the fit-out of each one.
Coordinated with suppliers to source materials required for production.
Oversaw daily operations to ensure smooth workflow processes.
Communicated effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
Ensured all safety procedures were followed and maintained a safe working environment for staff.
Adhered to company policies, industry regulations and safety guidelines.
Provided guidance and direction to subordinates regarding job duties and responsibilities.
Trained, mentored, and evaluated the performances of apprentices.
Monitored employee productivity to provide constructive feedback on how they can improve.
Assisted with the merger between Electek and Metrowest, offering ideas on how to best bring all the employees together, and helped with streamlining operational processes.
