I am a young, enthusiastic and driven 27 year old that ensures the rights of every child are always met and upheld. With my 11 years experience working in a diverse range of Childcare centres, I am able to cope well during busy times, whilst also completing numerous daily tasks within time frames. Along with that I have equipped many different skills and knowledge around policies, procedures and regulations.
I have high regard for the implementation of a well rounded program and understand the importance of the developmental areas and the impact on children’s overall growth and learning. In my leadership career I have worked closely with other staff to improve on an inclusive Indigenous program, bringing my own Cultural knowledge to centres. Along with this I ensure that Cultural Inclusion across the world is recognised, celebrated and implemented within all ages.
Within the last year, I have been training for a Centre Management position at Chapter 1 ELC, requiring me to be a responsible person and nominated supervisor. Within this I built on my already foundational team leadership and managing skills as well as conflict resolution and communication skills towards staff, families and children. I approved learning journeys and observations written by staff, ensuring quality documentation of the children’s learning was met.
