Conducting weekly music lessons during the school term for students across the College in Pre-Primary to Year 12:

• Tailor individual music lessons to support student needs.
• Design specialist group program called Kids Love Music aimed at students in Year 1 and 2 to equip them with foundation level music theory in preparation for learning an instrument in Year 3.
• Preparing students for AMEB exams (piano, vocal and music theory).
• Acquired teaching materials and resources to facilitate music instruction.

Oversee the Music Tuition Program including (but not limited to):

• Setting up classes and timetables using Compass for all tutors.
• Processing both new and withdrawing student applications.
• Ensuring tutors maintain accurate attendance records.
• Manage day-to-day queries from parents, students and tutors.
• Organising and proof semester reports for all students receiving music tuition.
• Ensuring tutors adhere to details listed in the Tutor Handbook.
• Assisting with Musique Festival where students who receive music tuition are able to perform in a non-competitive environment in front of family and friends.

As a Choir Teacher my duties have included:

• Conducting weekly choir lessons for students in Years 4-6, preparing repertoire to be performed at various festivals, assemblies and special events.
• Directing 10 Primary School Musicals.
• Mentoring 4 Secondary students who sang as a group from Year 6-Year 12.
• Create vocal arrangements which were used in recording a CD for the students mentioned above.
• Assisting Primary teachers with Presentation Night class items if required.
