Scope - Sewer Rising Main and Restoration

Key Deliverables

  • 13 km of OD710/OD900 Sewer Rising Main per Unitywater specs, including trenching, HDD, tie-ins, gas release, section valves (up to DN750), odour control units, custom MSCL/MSFB spools, precast pits, HDPE HDD tie-ins, and hydrotesting.
  • Construction of 2km of concrete footpath and asphalt bikeway, and restoration of 13 km of SRM with landscaping, fencing, and light pole installation, in line with Council and TMR specifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Managed end-to-end subcontractor engagement – from issuing RFQs and BOQs to conducting bid evaluations, pre-award assessments, and preparing Authority for Expenditure (AFE). Facilitated Construction Risk Assessment Workshops (CRAW) prior to site commencement, ensuring risk mitigation strategies were in place.
  • Coordinated with site crews and superintendent inspectors to ensure project compliance and safety.
  • Led project planning and methodology development, ensuring efficient execution.
  • Construction of temporary accessways and hardstands, coordination of temporary works designs (fencing, noise barriers, piling platforms), and quality management.
  • Managed budgeting and cost forecasting, aligning project expenditures with financial targets.
