• Study work orders and determine the types of items that need to be picked.
• Speak order to be picked into the voice picking system, using predefined commands.
• Listen intently to the instructions provided by the voice picking system.

•Pull, box, wrap and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards from dry goods shelves, coldroom and freezer based on daily orders. Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation. Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.

•Check all picked orders to ensure that they bear the right information such as batch and item numbers.

•Operate forklift or electric pallet jack to stack, unstack, or shift items in warehouses. Ensuring loads are spread evenly and secured to reduce the risk of an accident in the workplace. Moving shipments of products from within the warehouse to the loading dock then load the pallets onto the trucks under the direction of the warehouse manager.

•Lift and load outgoing shipments to the truck by hand, working as a team to ensure that they are properly and safely loaded onto the trucks or the vehicles, and secured. Also be able to stan, squat, and bend for long periods, as well as lift up to 25 kg unassisted.

•Ensure that all paperwork is updated, and information regarding outgoing shipments is punched into the databases.

•Using inventory controll software system to monitor, organizse the stocks movement for delivery schedules by communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers.

•Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
