April 2024 to August 2024, working as a casual RN in a virtual healthcare provider system, providing nursing assessments, advice, and information services. It consisted of the following:

- Ensured compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, and standards of practice related to triage nursing duties.

- Coordinated referrals to specialty services as needed for further evaluation and treatment options.

- Instructed patients on self-care techniques, medications, diet plans, and disease processes. Identified symptoms, gathered medical history, and documented patient information accurately.

- Managed triage phone calls by providing appropriate advice or referring callers to their primary care provider or other specialists, when necessary. Assessed patients' health condition and determined the level of care needed.

February 2024 to April 2024, working as an RN casually in a medical detox unit called the Odyssey House. It consisted of the following:

-Overseeing the care and well-being of patients undergoing detoxification from drugs or alcohol.

- Conducting initial assessments to evaluate the patient's health status, monitoring vital signs and withdrawal symptoms, and administering medications as prescribed for detoxification.

- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, providing patient education about the detox process, and offering emotional support and counseling.

- Documenting patient care activities, responding to medical emergencies, and facilitating referrals to further treatment/support services.

March 2022 to December 2023, working as a casual RN in a full-time role in justice health. Working in the medical clinics of Goulburn Correctional Centre, NSW. It consisted of the following:

- Reception screening for all new patients, conducting comprehensive health screenings for prolonged stay patients, monitoring and managing chronic conditions, administering medications, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.

-Nurses are also responsible for the day-to-day healthcare requirements of patients within correctional centers, providing emergency care, addressing acute medical issues, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

-It also involves health education/promotion, counseling, client advocacy, facilitation of change, clinical teaching, supervising, and mentoring.

Working as a surgical nurse in orthopaedics. It consisted of:

- Comprehensive care of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, both elective and trauma. Monitoring patients' post-op recovery, managing pain, and assessing for complications.

- Educating patients on their post-surgical care, including wound care and rehabilitation exercises. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate patients' recovery and supporting their rehabilitation.

- Performed wound dressing changes as needed and assisted with wound debridement when indicated.

- Documented all aspects of pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care accurately in the medical record.

- Administered medications, intravenous fluids, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician.
