Work History

Apprentice/Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic

North East Mechanical
12.2024 - 06.2025
  • My short tenure at North East Mechanical entailed breakdown repairs, maintenance and servicing on light to heavy trucks; including front and rear lift sanitation trucks.
  • Light vehicle repairs/servicing
  • Field service on of plant equipment
  • Electrical Diagnosis and rewires on a variety of heavy vehicles
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my time here in the tight knit workshop and had a great deal of exposure working with the customers in order to make sure their repairs are carried out to an exceptional standard and within their budget.

Apprentice Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Sancon Civil
12.2023 - 12.2024
  • I took this role to give myself exposure to earthmoving and civil equipment.
  • My day-to-day activities included servicing and repairs on a variety of plant and vehicles. Including rebuilding hydraulic cylinders, on site breakdowns etc.
  • This role also has given me essential organisation skills and the ability to coordinate repairs with operators, order parts and minimise downtime.
  • Taking the leap into field service gave me a new perspective on getting the task at hand done autonomously with what you have whilst working safely in less-than-ideal conditions.
  • Unfortunately, I had to leave this position due to my foreman exiting the company. Being an apprentice, I was unable to work without having a qualified supervisor present at the company.

Apprentice Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Daimler Trucks Albury
01.2021 - 12.2023
  • Company Overview: Daimler Trucks Albury gave me a foot in the door and my start in the industry. With this enabled me to have exposure to the latest products from Daimler and provided me with training at their academy in Melbourne. This has given me OEM knowledge on Eaton, Detroit and Mercedes-Benz systems.
  • Due to the fast-paced dealership environment I’ve been able to learn how to communicate with all departments in order to get the job done efficiently and, in a time conservative manner.
