Summary

Adept in team leadership, technical skills and high pressure situations, my tenure with the Army as an Infantry member honed my abilities in critical thinking, communication and effective teamwork. I have engaged in significant community interactions during deployments domestically and internationally showcasing my capacity to thrive in High stress ,foreign situations.

Career Highlights:

Leadership-

. In 2022 I took part in an international deployment to Hawaii as part of exercise RIMPAC 22. This deployment consisted of working with and training multiple different nations including Mexico, Sri Lanka, Tonga,Philippines, United States of America and Japan.

. In 2023 I was promoted to Lance Corporal which has enabled me to lead a small team for over a year now,

. In 2024 I took part in deployments to Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia as the 2IC of a section, sometimes acting above my rank as a corporal when required.

Training and Development-

. In November of 2021 I completed the Basic Reconnaissance Course. This course is 6 weeks of learning complex infantry tactics while working in small 6 man teams.

. In March of 2023 I completed the Subject 1 Corporal course which allowed me to promote to corporal.

. In November of 2022 I completed the Subject 2 Corporal course and am fully qualified to be promoted to the rank of corporal.

. In December of 2024 I completed the Basic Direct Fire Support Weapons Course. This 8 week course entailed the use of multiple advanced weapon systems with intense physical conditions.

. I am currently qualified as an Army First Aider and go through regular training to keep my skills up to date. This training is provided by qualified medics.

Deployment history-

. In February of 2022 I was deployed on Operation flood Assist to Coraki and Evans Head NSW. During this deployment we worked with local emergency services and SES to help local residents evacuate and clean post flood streets and houses.

. In July of 2022 I was deployed on Exercise RIMPAC 22. During this exercise with worked with and trained multiple international countries.

. In February 2024 I was deployed as a part of Rifle Company Butterworth 143 (RCB 143). This is a constant rotation in Malaysia that entails complex jungle training, an urban training package in Singapore and opportunities to train Malaysian Armed Forces. During this deployment I was the Lance Corporal of a section of 8.

. In October of 2024 I took part in Indo-Pacific Endeavourer 24 (IPE 24). This was the largest Joint exercise with Indonesia ever conducted. Again during this deployment I was the Lance Corporal of a section of 8.

. Working with diverse community groups, across all age groups through a variety of community resilience programs.
