· Manage a portfolio of injury claims consisting of medically discharged police officers and assess all aspects of liability, setting quantum pursuant to legislation and guidelines.
· Build strong relationships and provide support to injured workers suffering from predominantly psychological injuries including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and related psychiatric disorders through regular phone contact, goal-setting and approval of reasonably necessary treatment.
· Manage claims in accordance with legislation, regulations and internal policies and procedures.
· Manage all administration tasks with high attention-to-detail relating to payments, paperwork and claims-related matters.
· Establish and maintain effective relationships with third party service providers and proactively manage external parties including treatment providers, solicitors, rehabilitation consultants and investigators.
