Actively manage a caseload of pre-release prisoners to meet or exceed monthly targets for commencements of offenders/ex-offenders, as set by the Team Leader – Pre-Release Engagement Team.
Deliver customized pre-employment programs to prisoners within correctional facilities.
Facilitate access to employment opportunities to prisoners via job boards, videoconferencing and connections with employers.
Ensure full Quality and Compliance standards related to commencements of pre and after release prisoners in the WFA and DES Program are met.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Department of Corrections, CREST providers, Department of Human Services, eligible job seekers and other relevant stakeholders to increase Brand Awareness for BUSY Ability and the program.
Liaise with prisoners, QLD Corrections staff, Probation and Parole, Youth Justice, external service and providers to promote the BUSY Ability Ex-Offenders specialist program to increase referral and commencements.
Ensure Pre- employment programs delivered in the Correctional facilities meet or exceed the quality standards agreed with stakeholders.
Work with the Team Leader – Pre-Release Engagement Team to develop innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of service delivery
Implement and drive new initiatives for continuous improvement;
Work in a highly ethical manner in accordance with company guidelines and legislative compliance;
Commitment to act in a manner which promotes and protects the safety and wellbeing of children and young people by adhering to the Child Safety National Principles and TBG’s Child Safety policies and procedure;
