20 years of process plant experience, including 10 years in leadership roles, I am seeking a new opportunity in an environment that will both challenge me and build on the knowledge-base that I have acquired to-date. Currently, I am working a Projects superintendent across multiple plants for Sarjaro. Prior to this, I managed both the gold room and the Water & Tailings at Ballarat Gold Mine. This was a role that I obtained following on from 5 years of commissioning process plants such as tailings facilities, working in the areas of water treatment, boilers, autoclave, RO and control room first as an Operator then as a Supervisor. Before that I had 2 years’ experience as a control room operator at the mining major, Rio Tinto.
I am currently enrolled in a project management diploma and hold a Certificate IV in Water Operations from the Chisholm Institute, Cranbourne (2016); I have abundant experience in the unique pressures of a control room environment; I am well-accustomed to working patterned shift work, and I am confident in my ability to prioritize actions to best suit the needs of the situation. I have excellent time management and communication skills. I am experienced in communicating with all team members, management, stake holders and contractors and I am proud of my ability to work diligently alongside everyone whilst also managing my own workload.
I hope to stay in and progress within the water industry, I enjoy being able to contribute to an industry that directly benefits the community.
