  • As an Author and Playwright my success is underscored by the best-selling status i achieved on Amazon with 'Use It or Loose it' (Penguin, 2019) and the multitude of national and international productions of my play, 'Who Knows' (2009-2014)
  • In 2018 I worked with the Menzies Centre to research and gain insight into dementia and the ways in which individual risk may be lessoned. This required thoughtful and careful presentation in order to communicate advanced scientific understanding into concepts easily grasped by the general public.
  • As an Author and Playwright I have become accustomed to taking a collaborative approach to my texts working with editors, publicists, directors and performers.
  • My books have been published internationally and my work for theatre is available for production throught Australian Plays Transform (a national database of contemporary Australian Playwrights)

  • My initial brief as Marketing and Comms Manager was to focus on the many services available to the Tasmanian public outside of the 13 11 14 crisis number.
  • I coordinated teams across the organisation to provide regular and engaging social media content as well as creating engaging events such as 'Party at the Op Shop' and the 2024 'Book and Vinyl Fair' to highlight to the Tasmanian Community the many and varied services offered by Lifeline Tasmania.
  • In 2024 I more than doubled the annual rate of Lifeline Tasmania followers on social media using creative and engaging posts based on analytics provided through Meta.
  • As manager of a small team I was responsible for events as diverse as 'Out of the Shadows', 'Golf Day', 'The Push Up Challenge' and overseeing projects including the Lifeline Tasmania 50th celebrations, the Annual General Report and awareness campaigns with Working it Out, Risdon Prison and the Migrant Resource Centre

  • As part of a small Marketing team for the ABC (1995 - 1998) I was responsible for writing, recording, producing, mixing and the scheduling of promotional material across radio. I was also tasked with developing and helping to coordinate projects adn events including the ABC Giving Tree, Triple J outside broadcasts and Open Days.
  • Team work on a tight deadline was an essential requirment for my work as a producer for ABC Radio, TV and Online. This included the ability to research, locate and organise the appropriate guests and write a script appropriate to the specific platform.
  • As Online Producer I won over 12 National Editors Choice Awards highlighting a diverse range of Tasmanian specific stories including indigenous history and that of a long forgotten Tasmanian ANZAC hero, Fred Hallam.
  • My analytical skills are reflected in winning the 2019 ratings period for the ABC Evening Show utilising my knowledge of the Tasmanian community to provide engaging and meaningful content.

Accomplishments

    Planned, developed and coordinated the 2024 Lifeline Tasmania Book and Vinyl Fair which raised in excess of 20,000 for suicide prevention funding.

    Worked with the Department of Premier and Cabinet in the creation of Marketing material featuring the Premier to promote core projects such as the Push Up Challenge, Book and Vinyl Fair and the 50th anniversary of Lifeline Tasmania.
