  • Responsible for business operations of two major operating companies being Snack Brands Australia and Griffins biscuits New Zealand. Responsibilities included all aspects of business management including P&L responsibility, strategy and M&A development, people and leadership organisation and development, customer engagement, supply chain and manufacturing in addition to all business compliance matters.
  • Over 25 years delivered growth in excess of $500m at high levels of sustainable quality earnings. Managed transition from private label focus to brand first strategy through reinvigoration of existing brands accompanied by successful launch of new brands where there was clear brand architecture reasoning.
  • Built and maintain positive relationships with key customers and suppliers including trade unions. Customer engagement strategies delivered high net promoter scores in Advantage Survey with standard rankings in the top third of all suppliers
  • Represented the company in industry forums to build employer profiler and to influence industry regulatory conversations
  • Acted as nominated media spokesperson
  • Development of strategies for the near and long term success of the business including a focus on quality and sustainability of earnings. This included an active approach to M&A as well as clear plans around where to play and how to win
