Having served as a police officer for 23 years I obtained the rank of detective senior constable. I have developed strong communication skills and the ability to communicate well with my peers and management.
15 of my years as a police officer was working as a detective in various criminal investigation offices including Bellerive, Hobart, Glenorchy and Bridgewater. I was also a member of the serious and organised crime division whose responsibility was to investigate cold case matters, major fraud investigations and Cyber crime.
Throughout my career I have participated in numerous training courses including fraud investigation and advanced Cyber crime investigation delivered by members of the Australian Federal Police.
I have liaised with external agency's and jurisdictions including travelling to other states to extradite wanted criminals.

I was the sole officer at a 1 man police station located at Risdon Vale Hobart. This is a low socio-economic area and very challenging. I was responsible for law enforcement and all investigations relating to crime occurrences.
