I have worked within the industrial services sector for 20 years. Initially, as a scaffolder and rigger on construction projects, this led into maintenance and engineering for the last 16 years, where I have held leadership, supervision, and management roles, predominantly in the iron ore mining and processing industry, but also across various chemical processing, power generation, refining, and petroleum plant operations. My maintenance background has given me a broad understanding of the sector where I have managed all trade disciplines, regional workshop facilities, varying projects, fixed plant structural remediation campaigns, maintenance teams and extensive experience in shutdowns, major outages and turnarounds across numerous operations. As a service provider, I have gained knowledge in most aspects of contract, subcontract, and commercial management. I have subsequently developed the skills to ensure that a safe and efficient service or product is provided to the required quality standards and expectations. I have a proven ability to form long-term partnerships with major customers, and in turn, I have assisted in securing a number of contract renewals, inclusive of long-term multidisciplinary service agreements. I value collaboration, teamwork, and I have a genuine appreciation for all functions and business services in achieving a successful outcome. I have a strength in employee management, and as a result of business unit growth in previous roles, I have a proven ability to build and lead a diverse team through promoting, mentoring, and consistent performance management. With a strong, reliable work ethic, I strive to continually learn and improve my leadership and management skills, look forward to any new challenges, and the opportunity to discuss future employment within your organization.
