  • Led the Mechanical Reliability Team and Portfolio across the Polythene Business Unit, to deliver SH&E and plant reliability as per business plan
  • Develop a strong culture of SH&E, through initiating Safety Improvement Strategies and championing a mindset of Continuous Improvement across different business fronts

  • Successfully managed the following major shutdowns with no LTIs, on time and within budget: 2021 HDPE plant annual shutdown ($.4.5M, including $2.7M cooling tower replacement) 2020 HDPE plant annual shutdown ($2.4M, including major extruder overhaul) Led the development, risk assessment (for organisation change), implementation and the training program to allow Shift fitters on one plant to work as a day fitter on a different plant.

  • Refinery Managers Award 2013, Team award on the successful and prompt completion of HAZOP studies for all systems (Diesel, Gasoline, Jet Fuel and Slops) for the Terminal Conversion Project
  • This was critical from a design safety perspective and ensuring the three-year project was not delayed and on track.
