Accomplishments

  • Coordinated a 500 000USD fund on a project entitled, “Strengthening Knowledge and Capacity to prevent and reduces of Plastic Waste for Zimbabwe and Malawi”, under the Norwegian Government funding with the United Nations Environment Programme, (UNEP).
  • The Project Coordinator for Mercury Initial Assessment (MIA) Project in Zimbabwe.
  • Successfully led the accreditation of the Environmental Management Agency of Zimbabwe to the UNFCC Adaptation Fund as a National Implementing Entity.
  • Appointed as permanent member for the organisation in the Steering Committee for management of chemicals and waste under the Basel, Stockholm and Rotterdam Convention.
  • Spearheaded the ratification process for Zimbabwe to become a Party to the Minamata Convention
