- Provide personal care to the people in their own homes, and ensure that they are safe at all times.

- Lead the shift, ensuring staff provide support that follows individuals' care plans and daily support plans.
- Motivate, support, and mentor the junior staff, and work with them.
- Support with recruitment drives, spot checks, and supervisions of the support workers.
- Participated in continuing education programs related to senior care best practices.
- Responded quickly and appropriately to emergency situations involving the health of a client.
- Developed individualized plans of care based on patient needs and preferences.
- Scheduled housekeeping duties such as laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning and cooking meals for clients when necessary.
- Conducted home safety assessments, identified risks and implemented appropriate strategies.
- Maintained compliance with healthcare, industry and facility rules and regulations.
- Built strong and trusting rapport with clients and loved ones.
- Created training materials and conducted group trainings on new processes or procedures.
