I have recently graduated from high school and am looking for a job to earn some money to go travelling next year. I haven't had a job before purely because I was very focused on school work however I did lots of babysitting to help with earning money. I am eager and excited to get a job and to stay busy over the holidays. I am very flexible and happy to work anytime, in particular would love to work morning shifts.
I have done a range of different babysitting jobs for both family and friends. I have a brother that suffers with autism who I have had to babysit before which has developed and improved my ability to better understand individuals and reason with them.
I worked in the kitchen at garfish for 5 days helping to prepare a range of different menu items, learning physical cooking skills as well as communication skills when talking to people I was unfamiliar with.
As a part of the Duke of Ed program I was fortunate enough to volunteer every tuesday for 1hr at lunchtime to create capes for children in need donating them through the bear cottage foundation. These capes are given to sick kids to bring happiness and joy into such a tough life.
I placed top 10% in 4 of my 5 subjects, mathematics standard 2, hospitality, Food Technology and Design Technology. I have received this award in both year 12 and year 11 as I have intensely focused on my school work for the last 2 years especially.
