Peter Finn

I founded Coastwide Solar in 2011 and I have been working full time in the solar and battery storage industry since 2009.

I have recently sold my business to a long established Gold Coast solar company and I am now looking to join another successful solar company working as a sales consultant or in a management position.

I have managed over 3000 solar and battery installations for on-grid, off-grid, residential and commercial applications. I am highly experienced in all aspects including sales, estimating, design, installation, purchasing, communications, technical support, problem solving as well as the importation product.

Metalcraft was a family business specialising in metal fabrication and engineering. Products manufactured included outdoor shade structures, transportable buildings, farming implements and the Metalcraft range of metal hand bending machinery.

My role was manager but I was involved in all aspects of the business including sales, design, installation and fabrication. We imported containers of machinery from China and in 2009 I decided to import a few containers of solar panels for wholesale distribution but I soon found some installers and started retailing solar systems.
