Over most of my career a have worked on various heritage listed homes where attention to details is paramount

Worked with Toolbox Constructions on high end quality domestic construction in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. This is where i developed a very keen eye for detail and executed quality workmanship which lead me to being the site foreman. My main tasks were:

• Overseeing projects and delegating work to the site
• Reading and understanding complex site plans
• Organised materials and other trades required for each project.
• All aspects of carpentry
• Underpinning
• Making the site up to work cover standards by maintaining a safe and tidy job site
• Organising all waste removal
• Maintaining a high level of customer service and regular communication with clients.

I started a partnership with my father where majority of my work was completing small extensions and renovations to domestic homes.

We completed and over saw the construction from start to finish including:

• Demolition
• Foundations
• Framing
• Roofing
• External and internal wall linings
• Flooring including decking
• Pergolas.
• Over seeing external contractors including plumbers, electricians and painters etc.

In addition I completed extensive work for insurance companies such as Munters & Johns Lying. This included making safes and asbestos removal. I was also looking after hail repairs in Blacktown and flood damage repairs in Newcastle.

While still under the partnership I was contracted to the company Spotless executing repairs for the department of housing which were:

• Minor and major damage repair
• Roofs and gutters
• Entrance doors
• General handywork

I have experience and knowledge with fire upgrades to commercial units including:

• Fire doors
• Auto closers and locks
• Ceilings and walls

Which I did for the company Newsound Fire.

While there I also looked after updating all units to the BCA including

• Handrail and balustrade heights
• Window sill heights
• Locks and anti slip etc

Worked at Bunnings on weekends to get some extra money and to get experience in the area of customer service and building products.

• Managed inventory levels, restocking shelves as needed to maintain an attractive retail space.
• Guiding customers to the right products and offering advice on how to use them
• Conducted "how to" demonstrations on small jobs. ie; how to make a fly screen.
• Strong customer service skills
