Since I began sub-contracting and up until present, I have engaged myself in all aspects of construction work. The majority of my work has seen me engaged as a carpenter and / or as the Project Manager for a number of TV Renovation programs.

The list includes –

• Backyard Blitz, Burkes Backyard, Renovation Rescue, DIY Rescue, The Block (series 2) Renovation Rumble, Better Homes & Gardens, House Rules, Love it or List It, The Living Room, Dream Home & numerous one-off specials.
• Most of the works here involved standard domestic home renovations, structural changes, landscape construction and internal fit-outs including joinery installation.

I was involved design liaison, planning, budgets, trades, scopes of work, schedules & on site construction.

• The two most notable additions here are Restaurant Revolution (Ch7), Here I facilitated the simultaneous builds of 5 x shipping container restaurants in major capital cities of Australia. I was involved in the design and construction process of the units which were all built in Sydney and then transported interstate ready for a same day filmed construction. I also dealt with planning permits, structural engineering, construction, logistics, budgets, trades, schedules, OHS, and the liaison between the TV production. I was also in charge of the seamless pack down and sale of the units on completion of the production.
• Selling Houses Australia (Lifestyle Channel). I was been engaged for 10 years as the project / build manager for SHA. My role involved all aspects of the build, from initial site visits with on air designers, follow up design and build process, follow up site visits with trades, council and relevant approvals & permits, trades, budgets, scopes of work, scheduling, OHS, on site construction & production liaison. I have been involved in many varieties of build from standard domestic renovations, major structural renovations, external landscape construction, houseboats, windmills & pubs / hotels.

• On select dates throughout a year, I work as a trek leader on the Kokoda Trail, PNG.
• I've lead 40+ treks over the past 16 years through some of the world most inhospitable terrain, on one of the most significant battlefields involving Australians in WW2, sharing a great historical pilgrimage with 100's of satisfied customers.

SWC Contractors specialized in domestic home renovations, extensions, additions, fit-outs, joinery installation, decks & pergolas, as the leading hand I was responsible for all builds from quoting and planning stage right through to obtaining council or relevant approvals (if applicable), construction, trades, materials orders, OHS, contracts, and handover of project. I had supervision responsibilities for 1 x tradesman, 1 x apprentice and a range of subcontractors as required.
