  • Working for the global health and beauty giant InnovaDerma, it is was my primary role to ensure the strategy/ goals and sales targets of the board and thus the CEO are achieved in a timely, cost efficient manner.
  • Charged with the management & manufacture of the organisations products in various regions around the world, from Australia to China, It was crucial I employed an efficient inventory and logistics system to ensure the organisation receives the best pricing/ quality, at the right time.
  • The key contact for all major key accounts such as Woolworths, Priceline and Target, along with managing the pharmacy broker, It was my duty to maximise sales and profitability with each retailer, following the recipe to retail success gained over 10 years within the industry. Nurturing existing relationships and curating new partnerships was vital to the success of the brands I managed.
  • The organisations revenue targets were solely in my control. Nationally and in foreign territories which include the UK, USA, South Africa etc. It was my role to ensure we were meeting our sales targets whilst adopting the most efficient systems to provide a great profit story for the company.
  • Within my scope also fell the management of external third parties such as 3PL, PR, pharmacy brokers etc to ensure we get maximum value form their efforts. It was crucial to agree on and accurate record/ monitor the goal both parties are trying to achieve. Adapting the strategy as we progress was key to this success.
  • Managing a team of over 25 staff I had to ensure I led by example. It was my sole duty to get the best out of my people and I continued to do this by first understanding their needs, communicating the KPI's and agreeing on a strategy that helps both parties achieve their goals. I took pride in myself with regard to the leadership and work ethic I employed, acting as a mentor to my staff. A positive, can do attitude was deployed with ever venture.
