To complete this I had to complete a bronze level first, needing to volunteer for something for 6 months (I chose to coach cricket), pursue a skill for 6 months (I chose piano) and play a sport, (I played football/soccer). After this I needed to complete a hike without the use of any technology and just using a compass and a map with a route that I had drawn, then set up a camp and do the same thing back to the beginning. For a silver I needed to do the same thing however over a year instead of 6 months and the hike was over 3 days. This experience taught me survival and common sense skills and taught me critical thinking skills.
