I am a dedicated Psychologist with over 25 + years of experience working across diverse psychological fields, with a particular focus on child and adolescent mental health. My journey began at the age of 13 when I developed a passion for psychology, leading me to pursue a degree in the Netherlands and subsequently move to Australia to further my career. My early professional experience includes significant roles at Latrobe University and the Royal Children’s Hospital, where I contributed to vital research on child psychology.
Expanding my expertise, I have worked extensively in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and with NGOs supporting at-risk families and children. My conscious decision to transition into adult psychiatry has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the psychological needs across all age groups. Since 2010, I have also cultivated a successful private practice, where my warm, approachable, and compassionate demeanor fosters a non-judgmental environment that encourages healing and growth. My practice is enriched by a deep understanding of diverse backgrounds, allowing me to connect effectively with clients from all walks of life.
