I have worked effectively in and with education and health professionals in rural, regional and remote settings as well as urban areas. Through these experiences I have developed a passion for education of allied health professionals in both the pre-vocational to post-vocational context. I am committed to supporting individuals to develop their knowledge and skills in order to be the best allied health professional they can be and support the communities within which they work.

Over the past 20 years I have demonstrated my commitment to evidenced-based practice, research, and education through completion of doctoral studies, providing training and education in informal and formal settings, and dissemination of research. Not supplied, but available on request is my record of authoring / co-authoring over 140 book chapters or peer-reviewed manuscripts, and over 130 conference or invited presentations. I have also engaged with my national professional association, international professional association, and key clinical partners (Brisbane South PHN, Office of Chief Allied Health Officer, SWHHS) to advance the allied health professions.
