  • Basic air-scan checks of all sensors, as well as a regimented calibration process, which includes measuring the actual paper-product, and calibrating slopes and offset parameters for each sensor, where required
  • Day to day mechanical, pneumatic and electrical checks of all required systems related to the QCS, including Scanners, Basis Weight, Moisture and Caliper Profilers, as well as the health of the DCS backbone
  • Machine Direction bump-tests when required, to ascertain lower-level and supervisory control loop tuning parameters, and performing loop-optimization if/when required
  • Cross-direction bump-testing, to ensure correct mapping of Scanners located in the Paper Machine Dry-end, to cross-direction actuators, like the Basis Weight and Moisture Steambox, located in the Wet End
  • These CD Bumps will include correction of static and dynamic control maps, as well as process response-behaviour, imposed by mechanical actuators as in a mechanical slice-profiler, or those imposed by for example a dilution profiler
  • Optimising process control behaviour based on quality controls systems data and information, ensuring customer product meets with specific process and quality performance criteria
  • Longer term efficiency and cost-control is always the aim, ensuring a good enough product to the end-market, manufactured within specifications
  • Supporting Customer Paper Makers in identifying day to day process issues during paper-manufacturing, and 24/7 on-call support service to the same
  • Ensuring a smooth customer-service experience for our customers and supporting Service Management to renegotiate new service agreements at the end of the year.
