• Required to be flexible to meet the daily Production plan in a dynamic work environment
• The Senior Leader on Shift, Overseeing of all departments (Inc Engineering, EHS, QA and HR)
• Directly liaised with contractors and facilitate the appropriate resources to ensure the facility was able to commence on time
• Contributed to the overall positive financial results of > $3MM in FY21 and successfully navigated the, ongoing, restrictions and challenges presented to essential businesses during the COVID Pandemic.

• Tradition sales role; involving servicing an existing customer base and developing new business in an area from Maryborough to Bundaberg

• Interim role after relocating from regional South Australia: until settling on a position better aligned to established skills - but enjoyed quickly developing a new skill set which enabled me to succeed.

• Company Overview: Sundrop Farms is a leading horticultural player producing high-value fruit using renewable sources that integrate solar power, electricity generation and fresh water production
• Approached for this position - Inaugural Manager responsible for systems establishment, compliance and certification, workforce development, public relations and provide counsel to country Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
• Developed the foundation operational policies and procedures
• Established the sites short-term strategic framework to take the project from conception to operation
• Responsible for the recruitment and development of key management roles on site (EHS, HR, Finance and Engineering) - including the creation of position descriptions, authority limits and professional development plans

• I took over an ageing facility, suffering from under-investment
• I commenced a detailed analysis involving multiple stakeholders to determine best practice and potential market growth opportunities
• Utilising an established capital request framework, I secured >$1.5MM in capital funding; resulting in the ability to seek and secure new volume and eliminate reliability concerns
• A senior employee completing a routine task was involved in a serious incident requiring emergency requiring hospitalisation and regulator involvement within the first week of my engagement
• I undertook a systematic review of work practices and completely re-engineered the way of working to mitigate further risk
• Fostered greater collaboration between business units by increasing the profile of the facility
• Establishing the framework to cross skill employees and share knowledge across sites, resulting in higher employee satisfaction and greater understanding when other business units encountered issues

• Progressed through various shop floor roles starting in 2001; progressing to eventually be appointed to the Site Manager of a Victorian Site
• Travelled internationally to review best practice; bringing back learnings and observations to improve local operations
• Lead the closure and decommissioning of the Victorian site
